This program is available in our school and community locations across Ontario and is open to all children and youth.
Fueling Success: Our Student Nutrition Program
At Mooretown-Courtright Public School, we believe that healthy bodies lead to focused minds. We are thrilled to collaborate with the Ontario Student Nutrition Program (OSNP) to offer a daily nutritious snack to every student in our building. Our goal is to foster an environment where well-being is a priority, ensuring no student has to learn on an empty stomach.
What’s on the Menu?
Each day, students are provided with a wholesome snack designed to sustain their energy and concentration. These offerings are carefully curated to meet OSNP nutrition standards and often include:
Fresh Produce: A rotating selection of fruits and vegetables.
Hearty Staples: Whole grain options to provide lasting energy.
Protein & Dairy: Essential building blocks for growth and development.
Inclusion and Care
Our dedicated team ensures that snacks are prepared and delivered in a way that is safe, efficient, and inclusive. By making this program available to the entire student body, we promote healthy eating habits and encourage children to explore new, nutritious flavors alongside their peers.
A Community Effort
This initiative is a vital part of the supportive atmosphere at Mooretown-Courtright Public School. We extend our sincere thanks to the OSNP and our local community partners; your support is what allows us to keep our students nourished, energized, and ready to excel.
