Student Nutrition

The Ontario Student Nutrition Program provides students with free, nutritious snacks, breakfasts, and lunches to support their learning and overall well‑being.

This program is available in our school and community locations across Ontario and is open to all children and youth.

At High Park Public School our nutrition program is a vibrant community effort dedicated to ensuring no student goes hungry. We are incredibly grateful for the vital funding provided by the Ontario Nutrition Program, VON, Grace United Church, and the Kiwanis Club. The scale of this initiative is truly impressive: each week, Kiwanis volunteers process and bag over 3,000 snacks.

This success is further bolstered by the generosity of our High Park families through snack donations, while our intermediate students demonstrate leadership by delivering, collecting, and sanitizing classroom bins. Behind the scenes, our dedicated staff ensures the engine keeps running—shopping for supplies, refilling bins daily, and providing simple lunches for any student in need.
