Lambton Kent District School Board (LKDSB) is excited to welcome students and families back to school in September for the 2023-2024 school year. The first day of school is on Tuesday, September 5 for students in Grades 1-12.
To support a positive transition to school, Kindergarten students will have a staggered entry. Schools will reach out to the families of Kindergarten students with more information about school start dates.
This school year, we remain committed to furthering our Strategic Priorities of Student Achievement & Well-being; Inclusive Diversity; Trusting Relationships and Sustainable Stewardship. We are focused on supporting the development of students' literacy and mathematics skills; preparing for future success and improving graduation rates; as well as supporting regular student attendance and well-being.

Throughout the school year important information and updates will be shared by your school community and through the LKDSB website (www.lkdsb.net).
Families are encouraged to stay connected to their child's school to help with their learning goals. Visit the LKDSB's Mental Health and Well-being website for additional information to support a smooth transition to school.
Working together, we will support students' academic achievement and well-being, and foster success for every student every day.
