November 12, 2020

Noelle's Gift Donation

The Noelle's Gift foundation has donated a total of $125,000 to the Lambton Kent and St. Clair Catholic district school boards to support students and families in need in 2020.

“The generous donations from the Noelle's Gift Foundation have helped to support students and families in need during the COVID-19 pandemic and throughout the school year," said John Howitt, Director of Education for the Lambton Kent District School Board. “We appreciate the ongoing contributions of Noelle's Gift to help LKDSB support our school communities as we know that students' health and well-being have a direct impact on student achievement."

The $125,000 donation from Noelle's Gift is shared among the two school boards to purchase eyeglasses, clothing, food, medicine and medical equipment.  The funds are dispersed independently by the two school boards and requests are processed quickly to help families.

The Noelle's Gift charitable fund was established in memory of Noelle Paquette, a former Kindergarten teacher with St. Clair Catholic District School Board, who passed away in January 2013.
