What comes after Gr 12

​College

​Students who have applied for College programming must wait for college acceptances to arrive.  These will be based on marks sent to OCAS by the school board.  Early acceptances may begin to arrive once these marks have been received.

Important Dates:

Early October  - applications open

February 1st - equal consideration date (for highly competitive programs, apply early)

February 1st - earliest offer date

May 1st - deadline to confirm offer of admission

June - tuition deposit due to the college

**Please note, due to the current situation, OCAS will be working with school boards and college partners in case of delays with the transmission of second semester marks.  The best place for updates regarding this situation www.ontariocolleges.ca

University

Important Dates:

End of November - you will receive your Application Access Code Letter from your secondary school

Mid January - deadline for application   this year, January 15th, 2020

Early Feb - deadline for application changes  this year February 4th, 2020

February 28th - target date for all secondary schools to have transmitted final marks from first semester

May 5th - target date for secondary schools to have transmitted mid term marks from second semester

May 27th - the latest date all students can expect a response from a university

June 1st - the earliest date universities can request confirmation and a financial commitment

July 13th target date for secondary schools to have transmitted final marks from second semester
