GLSS, John N. Given Public School and Plympton-Wyoming Public School to host open house events

​Staff and members of the Transition Committees at Great Lakes Secondary School, John N. Given Public School and Plympton-Wyoming Public School invite students, families, staff, alumni and community members to attend the following upcoming open house events to celebrate the students and history of the buildings as they prepare to transition to new school sites in September 2018.

Great Lakes Secondary School
Saturday, April 28
11 a.m.-4 p.m.
Great Lakes Secondary School (275 Wellington St., Sarnia)

Great Lakes Secondary School History and Memorabilia Committee is hosting a memorabilia viewing and time capsule opening event. Most of the significant memorabilia will be relocated to the renovated GLSS site (340 Murphy Road, Sarnia), however some items will be available for public viewing and purchase for a donation, along with athletic clothing from Sarnia Collegiate Institute & Technical School and St. Clair Secondary School. Funds raised will support students in financial need. At 11 a.m., there will be an opening of a time capsule, which was originally placed in the school façade on August 9, 1921.
