October 21, 2016: EQAO Assessment Update
The Lambton Kent District School Board thanks all staff and students for your patience and resiliency yesterday in participating in the first large-scale online Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT) assessment. While the source of EQAO’s technical issues is currently unknown, the LKDSB is advocating for completed student work to be assessed by EQAO and reported back to us. Please read the statement from Director of Education Jim Costello.

Principal: Mrs. L. Jared

Excellence, Tradition, Community, and Growth:  these are the pillars of LCCVI.  We pride ourselves in providing a comprehensive educational program in a large school with a small town feeling.  With our wide range of sports and clubs there’s an extracurricular opportunity for everyone.

Our graduating students have the unique opportunity to become Nicol Scholars.  Each year a number students who have demonstrated excellent academic achievement and a commitment to the school and community are awarded a $10,000 (U.S.) scholarship which is funded by the Helen Kavanagh Nicol Foundation.
