2.14 Accessibility of School Buildings

The Lambton Kent District School Board has established a working committee in response to the Ontarians with Disabilities Act. This committee has developed an extensive plan to address the issues of accessibility. The Special Education Department has been actively involved in the committee as well as developing the plan. The attached Appendix outlines the plan and costs associated with the various projects that will be undertaken over the next few years. The plan also includes projects that have been completed to date.
