The LKDSB in partnership with Chatham-Kent and Sarnia/Lambton supports families by bringing childcare, family services and schools together as easy access for parents, grandparents, caregivers and parents-to-be.

What type of child care do you require?

 

Best Start Hubs:  A central location where quality education and quality child care co-exist for children 0-6 years.

 

Pre-School Early Learning Program (PELP): PELP helps children between the ages of 31 months and 4, to prepare for school. Children gain age appropriate school readiness skills through play. Contact your local child care provider for details.

 

Wrap-Around Care: Full day childcare for children on their "days off" from Kindergarten / Junior Kindergarten. Busing may be available to your home school.

 

Before and After School Care: in Chatham-Kent; in Sarnia/Lambton. Childcare for children 3.8 - 12 years offered in the hours before school starts and after school ends.
