(External teachers include occasional teachers and

Qualifications & Experience

  • Ontario College of Teachers Certificate of Qualification in the respective Division and subject area

  • www.lkdsb.net Qualification is preferred

  • experience in stated assignment(s) is an asset

  • knowledge of current curriculum directions
  • excellent communication skills in order to effectively interact with students, parents and staff
  • positive interaction as part of the school team
  • consistent and fair classroom management
  • working with youth in a variety of settings
  • working with native young people is an asset
  • computer skills are an asset
