Consistent with the philosophy of Special Education in the Lambton Kent District School Board, (ie that integration is the placement of first choice and that there should be a continuum of services for exceptional students), the following model for education of both non-identified and identified elementary gifted students is proposed.

-         open to identified and selected students

-         open to identified students and selected from classroom program

-         responsibility of enrichment resource teacher to organize and deliver

-         open to identified students with demonstrated needs
