1. Elephants and
mice are not at all alike. Or are they? Compare these two animals and list
as many similarities as you can. Contrast these two animals and list as
many differences as you can.

2. How would your
life be different if you were cold-blooded? Write about what your life
would be like. Be sure you tell your feelings about the changes.

3. Imagine you
could choose which class of animal life you belonged to. Design an
advertising campaign to promote a specific classification. Ex. Why life as
a bird would be desirable.

4. Create a cartoon
strip that depicts a conversation between two micro-organisms meeting the
challenges for satisfying their basic needs (for food, water, air,
movement).

5. Examine and list
your own personal inherited characteristics (hair colour, eye colour,
etc). Can you identify the family members you inherited these
characteristics from?

6. If all of the
rainforest habitats were destroyed, how would the world be different?

Federation or Green Peace in protecting habitats. Explain your feelings
about the actions of the organization.

Your speech should be 1 to 2 minutes long and include at least five
reasons why flies are good.
