Mythology

1. Prometheus brought back fire against Zeus' wishes. Debate with a friend whether he was right or wrong.

2. Imagine you are transported to Mount Olympus. Write an account to describe what you would see as you go through the Olympian world.

3. Read Jason and the Golden Fleece. Make a ship's log for the "Argo", recording adventures mentioned in the myth and also any other adventure of your own making.

4. Make a model of one of the gods of your choice. Write a brief resume outlining your god's abilities and background.

5. Draw a pictorial map which illustrates any five mythical places.

6. Make a travel brochure or advertisement to encourage people to visit a mythical place of your choice.

7. Compare and contrast centaurs with minotaurs.

8.Who do you think is the bravest hero in mythology? Defend your choice.

9. Create a four-frame cartoon strip with Cerberus or Cyclops as your main character.

15. Design a personal crest for a god or goddess of your choice.

16. Invent your own myth with its own heroes, gods, places, monsters, etc.
