Prequalified Contractor Program
All new inquiries should be directed to Purchasing Department at the Lambton Kent District School Board Sarnia Education Centre.
The Process:
All contractors wishing to work for the Lambton Kent District School Board must first complete the Prequalified Contractor Program.
STEP 1 - Download our Contractor Program Terms and Conditions. These are the set of rules required to be followed by all contractors while on site. Once you have reviewed and understand the working terms for the Board you can proceed to STEP 2.
STEP 2 - Download our LKDSB-SCCDSB Contractor Prequalification Application. Complete the application and send it, along with a copy of your current WSIB Clearance Certificate and proof of liability insurance, to the
Purchasing Department at the Lambton Kent District School Board Sarnia Education Centre. (or by regular mail to: P.O. Box 2019, 200 Wellington Street, Sarnia, Ontario N7T 7L2) Once the application form has been evaluated and your references contacted, you will receive notification as to whether or not you meet the minimum qualifications. This process may take some time. Do not proceed to STEP 3 until you have written notice from Purchasing Department.
STEP 3 - Complete the online Basic Safety Orientation training
Each person that will be working on Board property will be required to take this training. It is quick and easy but requires you to take a short test at the end. Once you successfully complete the test with a passing grade, your name will automatically be added to our records (the function to print the test is NOT available). The contractor must supply the list workers, whom have completed the test, on company letterhead (email containing company information is acceptable) signed by a company official. This list, together with photo identification in jpg format, must be submitted to the Board's Purchasing Department. Badges in Step 4 will not be processed until the Board has received this list, documentation and any subsequent updates.
STEP 4 - You will be notified when and where to obtain ID badges once all criteria have been met.
